Join Bpeace as a volunteer for Supplier Excellence, a six-month business growth and supplier readiness program for established U.S.-based professional services firms preparing to compete for corporate opportunities.
The first Supplier Excellence Deep Dive will be structured as a Baseline Supplier Pitch Event rather than a traditional workshop. Each of the 12 Fast Runners will present its current supplier pitch, creating a starting point for feedback, Success Plans, and progress throughout the program.
As a Pitch Presentation Coach, you will work with one or more assigned Fast Runners during August and September. Your focus will be the verbal presentation: listening to a practice pitch, helping the entrepreneur communicate the message more effectively, and offering practical guidance they can apply before the live event. A separate reviewer or judge will focus more closely on the written content.
Participating companies typically generate at least $300,000 in annual revenue, employ three or more full-time employees, and are committed to strengthening their capabilities for larger and more sustainable opportunities.
As a Bpeace Pitch Presentation Coach, you will:
·Participate in a brief virtual orientation and review the assigned business profile and current pitch materials.
·Listen to one live rehearsal and conduct a 45- to 60-minute coaching session with each assigned Fast Runner.
·Help the entrepreneur improve the opening, structure, timing, transitions, clarity, confidence, executive presence, and closing of the verbal pitch.
·Offer direct, constructive suggestions that strengthen the presentation while preserving the entrepreneur's authentic voice and style.
·Share a small number of office-hour windows during August&September for optional follow-up support; Bpeace will coordinate confirmed sessions and add them to the calendar.
·If available, attend the Baseline Supplier Pitch Event to hear the final presentation and reinforce key feedback.
·Complete a brief feedback form after each coaching or office-hours session to help Bpeace and the Fast Runner track participant progress and identify follow-up opportunities.
Your coaching will help entrepreneurs communicate with greater confidence and make it easier for corporate and government audiences to understand their value.
Suggested Coaching Focus
Bpeace will provide a simple coaching guide. The exact emphasis may be adjusted based on the assigned business and the length of the final pitch.
·A strong opening that quickly identifies the target buyer, business need, and relevance of the company's solution.
·A clear verbal flow that connects capabilities, differentiators, proof, delivery readiness, and a specific next step.
·Concise language, appropriate pacing, effective transitions, and disciplined use of the available presentation time.
·Executive presence, vocal variety, eye contact, body language, confidence, and the ability to sound prepared without sounding scripted.
·Preparation for likely questions from corporate procurement, business leaders, or government buyers.
You are a perfect match for this volunteer activity if:
You have experience in executive communication, presentation coaching, enterprise sales, corporate procurement, supplier development, public speaking, leadership development, or advising business owners. You know how to provide candid feedback encouragingly and practically.
